Good Marriage

First requirement of Good marriage is that Bride and Groom should like one another and should be willing to get married. No other criteria is applicable.

There is no ‘Auspicious’ time or Muhurat for a marriage. All days / times are made by God and each one of them is auspicious. The Date and time, that is most convenient for bride/ groom and their family, IS is most appropriate time for the marriage. Arya Samaj does not believe in celestial movements of planets and stars in deciding a date / time of marriage.

Marriage is an event that ties not only two people but two sets of families together. We strongly suggest that relatives and close friends should be a part of marriage celebrations. Yet, marriage is a family function, not a social or public event. Every known acquaintance should not be invited for wedding. Your guest list should not be a replica of your mobile contact list.
