Can an Arya Samaj Marriage be nullified?
No. Never.
Marriage at Arya Samaj is permanent in nature. It can be nullified only by a court of law by a legal divorce proceedings.
There have been cases where a marriage is performed at Arya Samaj and was not registered by couple for any reason. Later, one of the partners gets married again and registers his / her marriage. In such a case, the marriage done later is considered illegal and becomes a punishable offence.
Arya Samaj on its own, or even at the request of any of the partners, parents will NEVER divulge details of a marriage that was performed in Arya Samaj at any point of time. However, when asked by the competent Government authority ( count of law ), details are divulged by Arya Samaj.
Marrying couples should never consider marriage at Arya Samaj as a mere experiment. It is a legal process and couple are bound by the legal provisions of Indian constitution. No one should take this lightly. It is not reversible in any case.
