Childhood is the right time
Most Sanskars deal with childhood ( less than 5 years). Many of them like Namkaran, Mundan, Karnvedh are done for almost every child. Some of the prescribed Sanskars for children and their timings are shown here.
AryaSamaj2.0 recommends combining some of the Sanskars. For example, welcome ceremony ( Jaatkarm Sanskar) may not be possible because both mother / child are not allowed to get out of the house. Todays’ medical directives would not permit so. This sanskar can be done even if mother / child are not present in Havan.
