Upcoming Social Issues

Process of social reforms should never stop. New social issues keep coming up and older ones change their forms. Inter-caste marriage is not a big issue today but ‘living without marriage’ is. Child marriage is completely gone out in cities but the rend of teenage pregnancy / single mothers is on the rise. Kids, who are not even 10 year old, demand privacy, independence, freedom and legal protection from their own parents. Senior citizens, who should start detachment and renouncement, are getting married at 65 and saving money for next 50 years. Parents are unduly interfering in, dictating and controlling lives / lifestyles of their children (in laws ) and grand children.

Our current spiritual and social establishments have only 500 year old stories and sermons as answers. Youngsters don’t need this lecturing. Young children are report cards of parents. No surprise that youngsters are indifferent and disinterested in old spiritual solutions.

AryaSamaj2.0 is a modern version of Arya Samaj. We firmly believe in ancient Vedic wisdom and scriptures and we are conscious of changes taking place in our society. We propose to embrace the new evolving customs with proper knowledge and discretion and also thro out the chains of past that hinder our progress in the name of old established religious customs.

AryaSamaj2.0 is an intellectual, social and spiritual movement to spread Vedic wisdom among educated people. We have a fresh and modern outlook towards Vedic principles and an honest approach towards current social trends. We don’t accept any existing social custom / trend only because our grandparents have told us. We also do not , reject any modern practice just because it is new or western. Our balanced, logical and practical approach separates us from other social movements.
