Immersion of mortal remains

AryaSamaj2.0 strongly opposes the practice of immersing ashes ( mortal remains – ashti phool) in flowing river or stagnant water. By doing so, we pollute our already scarce water bodies. Last remains should be scattered in an open field. We strongly advise against going to a ‘Holy’ river or ‘Teerth Sthan’ to so. God is eternal and is present everywhere.
